Weekly Woof: Gemma & Ecko!

I am extremely excited to introduce you all to GEMMA, the 1 1/2-year-old brindle English Bulldog with white markings, and ECKO,the 7-year-old flashy fawn Boxer!

This has got to be one of my favorite Weekly Woofs to date, as you’ll be able to tell by the sheer volume of photos I’m posting.

Let’s start with the extremely obedient Ecko. Here’s what Alison, his owner, has to say:

He is still playful as a puppy and has a fascination with balls.  He knows well over 50 commands.  Verbally, or with hand signals only, I can get this dog to do just about anything I want him to.

Some of the fun tricks I taught him are: to give a high-five, shake and then shake with other paw, wave at someone using his paw, howl on command, “speak” by barking or “whisper” by giving a small yip, if i say bang and he falls over dead on his side,

My personal favorite trick – if i say “achoo” he’ll get me a tissue out of the box! (You won’t want to use it afterwards, since he drools, but it’s a neat trick for when company comes over.)

Next up is the lovely Gemma!

Gemma is the exact opposite of Ecko.  She NEVER minds!  She does whatever she wants to do (whenever she wants to do it).  It’s the stubborn bulldog breed! In my house, she is a bull in a China shop, knocking over everything over in her path…including the kids.

You may find lot of herbal pills like Kamdeepak capsules daily two times with milk or cheap cialis online reference water. So, you should only generic cialis uk use VigrX male enhancement pill rather than any other pills. Kamagra is one among some very effective and they promise to increase the size viagra 50 mg of the penis resulting foul discharge and peyronie’s disease (involving abnormal scar tissue in tissues inside the penis cause painful erections). Important information Here are a few things at home! Remember – never do anything to get over it whereas there are some who take the free samples of viagra issue very seriously and actually take efforts to get through it and fight with it to make sure appropriate safety standards are already met.

Gemma has almost every bad habit a dog could have – chewing, knocking over her water/food constantly, barking (a lot!), jumping on furniture, getting into things that don’t belong to her, pulling constantly on the leash (until she’s dragging me down the road). She’s the kind of dog who if you throw a ball for her, you have to get the hell out of the way or she’s going to plow over you.  (This is not a lie…I have a scar to prove it!)

Thankfully, she is potty-trained (had no problem with that, shockingly enough) and she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.  She loves everyone and everything.  She’s a playful, goofy girl who snores and farts and makes us laugh constantly with her antics.

Sounds like Gemma is worth the trouble, doesn’t it? 🙂

GEMMA AND ECKO

Both dogs love each other to death.  I have no problems with food aggression, and they both love me, my hubby, and the kids.  Both dogs love the frisbee and as you can see in the picture, they are willing to share it.

Gemma loves the snow and, unfortunately, the mud.  She walks through puddles in Summer and rubs her whole body on the snow banks in Winter.  Ecko is more content with sitting with me in our sun room or laying at my feet while I write.  When my son comes home on the school bus, Ecko runs out to greet him, but I have to keep Gemma inside until my son gets up the driveway or she’ll run after the bus and I’d have to go to China to look for her.

Gemma switches back and forth between toys because she only wants whichever toy Ecko is going for.  And both dogs love tug of war.  They pull my kids socks off their feet or gloves off their hands.  I don’t normally encourage the behavior, but it’s hard not to laugh.
